Inn On The Hudson

Pros: 1. It was super clean 2. The heating and hot water worked well 3. Towels and toiletries were decent 4. They gave us an early check in that had a great view of the Hudson 5. The staff were super friendly. 6. Location and view was great! Cons: 1. We saw cops there twice so not sure what was going on but overall we felt safe. 2. Also the rooms definitely need an upgrade but for the price offered I think it was alright. 3. You need a car to get around for sure

Spent this past weekend at Inn on the Hudson. It was better than expected and I had a room with two double beds with a balcony facing the Hudson River which was very nice. The room is clean and the staff kind not have been nicer. The Inn is right of the main highway which is 9 and easy access to a number of restaurants and Main St. We had a good night's sleep as it is very quiet which was such a pleasure. The Inn offers you a grab and go breakfast until 10am. My only suggestion is that when you drive into the driveway at night the entrance is extremely dark and very hard to see. There should be a light there.

We really loved this hotel and the surrounding area. You're able to drive right up to your room, a lot of them have a nice patio and/or balcony. Very clean and quiet.

Love the place. Has a great view. Service is great too. Only thing, rooms could use a little love by management.

We rented 3 rooms for a weekend in October 2025, for several family members for an outing to the Great Jack-o-Lantern Blaze, only about 10 mins. away. Our experience at this inn was great! Rooms were clean and neat, quite comfortable, all near each other, with beautiful views from the front balconies (2 of the rms, side by side!) overlooking the Hudson River. The front desk people were courteous and very friendly, they do offer a bagged breakfast (not great), but we were going out to a restaurant all together anyway. The kids did eat some of the items - muffins, etc. Coffee was available first thing. The hotel is near everything in this quaint, delightful town of Peekskill, where we had a fantastic authentic Italian dinner at a restaurant the night before. We enjoyed our stay; would book this place again.

A million dollar view from a so so room. Our room was clearly a work in progress. It was clean. Fridge and microwave worked well. Bathroom was up to date and clean. The trim work was scraped down in preparation to sanding and painting. The mattress has seen better days as did the bed and carpet. One of the windows is missing a screen. The view from our room was just phenomenal. The staff super friendly and nice. The brown bag breakfast was perfectly fine and yummy. Good coffee. Numerous great places to eat within easy walking distance.

Rooms were basic but clean - hairdryer, microwave and small fridge - nice hot water. No safe. Bagged breakfast wasn't great. Coffee all day was fine.

For the price, it is perfect. I stayed there for a weekend trip. The property is old, but all I cared about was that it was clean and in a good location, which it was. If you are a light sleeper, you will hear an occasional train whistle. They do provide basic earplugs.
